This site
is an off-shoot of a project I started this fall to promote my DJ Business,
Ra-Mu and the Crew.
Even though I have done over 1000 weddings, proms and other events, I never feel
satisfied and continually strive to improve the services we provide to clients such as
mood and uplighting, photo montages and video screens. In addition, I am always looking for
creative ways to communicate my message. RI Human Billboard has become my passion and my solution.

Human Billboard Concept
A Small Idea Becomes a Promotion Tool
I do a lot of networking, committing as much as 20 hours a month to it, but I was looking for a way to stand out
from the crowd at these events. In a fit of frustration, I decided to create an outlandish looking "Sandwich Board" to
wear to an upcoming event. I showed up and donned my new sign which was a blow up of a postcrad and put on my big afro
wig and headed into the event. You can see the reactions I got below, but let's just say, NO ONE MISSED ME OR FORGOT ME!
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
What does this do for my business
Since I did my first networking event with the sandwich board, I have made a point to be creative, unique and memorable.
I have worn all sorts of outfits and each time made lasting impressions on the people I have met. Needless to say, I have
acheived my goals beyond anything I have thought possible. I am constantly being approached by business people I have met at
these events and they never fail to mention where we met and what I was wearing. To me, this is the best form of advertising
you can do. How often have you done an ad campaigne only to be met with poor results and little or no name recognition.
I am so proud of the results this concept has brought to my business, I wanted to share it with my friends and associates. Feel
free to view the videos and use my ideas to help promote your own business. Remember, never, ever go to a networking event without
wearing something with your company logo and make it easy to identify yourself from everyone else. Don't be afraid to be unique and
different. All to much we spend our time trying to fit in and then when we need to stand out, most people feel uncomfortable and
cannot do it. Jump past your comfort level and make a bold statement. They may laugh at you, but they will rememeber you!
